How do I book a session?

To book a session just email me through the contact page on this website and let me know what type of shoot you are interested in and what your typical availability is for a few coming weeks. I will do my best to give you a session time that fits within your schedule. Sometimes, because of lighting during certain times of the year, I only shoot at specific times each day. After we decide on a date and time, I will send you a deposit payment form to hold the shoot date for you.

What is the deposit?

I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your shoot date. You can pay online via credit/debit card.

What is the styling session?

Included in each package, you get half an hour with career consultant, Tessa Faye. She is incredible at helping people align their images with how they want to be perceived. She will create a dialogue with you that will help you identify how you want to be cast, and help you pick out the clothes you are going to wear for each "look" in your shoot. For many people this is the hardest part of preparing for a headshot shoot, but with Tessa, you will have a blast creating a specific brand for yourself.

Can I add more retouched images?

Of course! If you decide you would like additional images, you will be able to purchase full resolution images at $40/image. They can be directly downloaded from your gallery. Then, if you would like basic retouching, just ask!

Can I customize a package with you?

Yes! I would be happy to speak with you about creating a package that fits within your budget and lifestyle. The above package is what I typically do with professional actors. If you want something a little different, just send me an email and we can begin to work it out!

Can I reschedule?

I totally understand that things come up, especially for professional actors. You can reschedule your shoot as long as you give me 48 hours notice from the start time of your shoot. I typically shoot with an assistant, so this allows me to give them enough notice. I take your time and my team's time very seriously. If you need to reschedule your shoot without 48 hrs notice you will need to pay a new deposit to hold another shoot date.

What happens if it rains?

Many of my shoots are done outdoors in natural light. The day before your shoot (if you have a morning shoot) or the morning of your shoot (if you have an afternoon shoot) I have to make a call about weather. If we reschedule your shoot because of weather, you will not lose your deposit regardless of when we reschedule.

What retouching is included?

Basic retouching is included in all images delivered in high resolution as part of the package, or any individual images purchased. This includes skin blemishes, under eye skin tone softening, fly away hair (when appropriate), brightening and whitening of eyes and teeth. Additional retouching can be requested and will be reviewed. Some requests may require an addition fee.

How many "looks" do I get?

I do not put a limit on the number of looks you can try during your allotted time.

How long is the shoot?

I never end the shoot without representing each of the looks in the plan you create with Tessa. If unforeseen circumstances on the shoot keep us from completing everything within that time, I will offer a mini-shoot to make sure you get everything.

How do you deliver the retouched images?

All retouched images are delivered via Dropbox or email.

How long does the process take?

Your images are delivered via online gallery within 48 hours. Once you receive your gallery you can email me to request the images you would like to be retouched. Retouching typically takes 2 days from the request. If you have something coming up and need the images quickly, just make sure you let me know and I will do my best to give you the gallery as soon as possible.

How long do you keep my images?

Once images are delivered to you, I can no longer guarantee that they will be on my server, but I know sometimes things happen so I keep your images as long as possible on my own personal hard drives. I will typically leave your online gallery up for 6 months to a year. During that time, download as many photos as you like.
